We have become so close over the last year, They won't be wee boys for long so I'm grabbing all the snuggle time now!

 

We will be keeping movie night, baking and arts and crafts... I am looking forward to a little tent making and some egg and soilders just now....

My newly found desire to learn.... I am attending 2 courses ~ Accountancy & Bookkeeping and my Garment Making. I have recently been gifted 3 Craftsy classes.

 

Tailored shirt class

 

Couture dress

 

Beginning serging

 

 

 

I really can't wait to to get my certificates!!!

I have taken on a Accountancy and manual bookeeping course.... I love it.

 

 

 

I have found that being a adult learner, has a heap of  +'s it's great for confidence building, being with like-minded peeps and qualifications!!

I will celebrate myself this festive sewing by proudly wearing this

 

 

I plan to make this in a faux raw silk in wine red, it's  £7.50 per meter... I shall  be wearing this creative pride on Christmas day!!!

Hello there peeps

 

SOOOOO

 

 

How are you all??? It's freezing here, like bitter cold!!! I'm glad for my fluffy socks that's for sure. Back in Edinburgh (my hometown) It's snowing. We're just bloody freezing!! I always think of my trip to Toronto when I'm cold... It was really freezing there, But they did have a few different names for the type of snow that had fallen... When I was there the snow had a name.... What was it you ask?!?!!? I totally can't remember what I can remember is it would NOT make a snowman... A sin... A sin I say!!!

 

Anyways   on to my crowns.... My wee Frazer is going to be a king (I'm sure I've told you already!) So I have volunteered to make the nursery new crowns!

 

 

I have scoured the web to find the vision in my head to no avail!!! I shall do a tutorial if you fancy?? It can be made with what's in your stash.... (I know you are all fabric hoarders like me!!) + a few sew in gems!

 

 

I have managed to loose a white/clear gem already!! That's always the way!!

 

 

I shall do a proper Ta-Dah later on when I have the elastic in and my wee model is ready!!

Gushing....

 

 

Hello there peeps..

 

How are we on our Monday morning...

 

As I've said before I love a Monday it brings order to a house with 2 boisterous boys and a scatty mummy!!!

 

 

We have had the best weekend... The weather was bitter cold YES

 

 

But we wrapped up warm and headed on up town Derry has a whole craft fair with a few amusements too. The buzz is fantastic (Even if the rides are £2 a pop!!)

 

 

 

The boys LOVED IT.... Oh to be a baby again!!!

 

 

 

When we finished our wanderings around the town we headed to Starbucks and had cookies and milk... I had my first Gingerbread latte this year too with my lemon poppy seed muffin!! PS do you love mollie makes, this is my first issue... LOVING IT!!!!

 

 

 

I done a little window shopping too.... Do we LOVE or HATE the dress??? It's very girlie!!

Anyways to end our fabby weekend The boys set up our wee mini Christmas trees I am loving this years Christmas so much age 5yrs and nearly 4yrs is SUCH a fantastic age!!

 

 

 

I love this last photo so much.... He will get that bauble on with no help.... YES HE WILL!!!

 

So that's my we gush huh!!! I have to say yes, my boys can be hectic, tiring & frustrating BUT I would never ever change a thing... I love them so so very much. our children are the reason we live love and laugh..... Never get to caught up in the hectic moments, because these moments above will always out weigh them

#reverb12 ~Day 3

 

 

Imagine a scenario where you only had one year left to live. What is one thing that you really wish to do that you just haven't had the chance to accomplish yet?
I would like to add: what steps could you take (however small) to ensure that you accomplish this thing in 2013?

 

Well this is a hard one.... I've had a good think and I reckon I would have to say that, if I had one year to live I would spend as much as I could with my boys in Edinburgh. So that we could spend as much time with my granny Mattie, I would take here places.... Gardens, secondhand shops (she is the thrifting queen!!!) I would also spend some time down in the caravan with here too.... She loves it down there..

 

I will be booking a few short trips this year, and all of them will be in Edinburgh so I can see my granny Mattie... I have been a a terrible grand-daughter of late, I have to give myself a good shake!! **Slaps own hand** The year ahead will have me re-gaining my conections with family and friends.. Watch out 2013 I'm-a-coming!!!

What was your most significant expenditure in 2012?

It doesn't have to be necessarily the biggest expenditure, just the one with the most impact.

What difference has it made to your life?

 

 

What's this....

 

 

That's easy... Our new Friday night tradition, movie night. It's the day that shows us the week is over, we come home, pj's on, light the fire, get our newly bought DVD and snuggle up on the sofa... No housework, no computers, no phones.... Just up all snuggled up. It's the boys day  for treats too they wait all week.... Then movie night comes round, they have a special bear (I can't lay my hand on right now, typical!! It's meant for a man and has space in it for a newspaper a beer and a remote control. We put our juice box chocolate and sweeties in it!!! Friday nights in our house really are great.

It's all a bit of fun for December....

 

So in answer to the question above.... I have 2 feelings one of relief that this year is over... And one of happiness,

 

happiness that I have put weight on ~ Body,

(I was a UK 14 went to a 4 now I am nearly a 8!)

 

 

I have a clearer & calmer head ~ Mind

 

 

My boys are at such a good age, they really are just so fun to be around ~ Day job

 

 

I have such a passion for sewing and crochet, and I am hoping to Tailor my expertise ~ Creative life

 

 

I have hopeful~ness and am on them mend ~ Heart.

Well I'm sure that was quite revealing... It certainly was for me, who would have thought just sitting back and pondering feelings would inspire such a raw post!!!
