My Burda Style faves this month ~March 13.

Hello there peeps 

How is everyone this grey Saturday?!?!?!

We are suffering a "Cold Snap" here in Derry... The weather doesn't like is getting to comfy!!! I have had a rather productive morning, so I felt no guilt having a pour over the latest Burda Style (March 12). I have to say I am inspired... There are lots of yummy pieces to drool over!!! 

These trousers are just to lush.... I personally wouldn't wear that fabric BUT I love the cut..... Are you a fan of ankle grazers?!?!!? I think with a set of heels to set theses of you can't help but look HOT TO TROT!!!!

This is another pattern where I'm not fussed on the fabric but love the cut!!!

This dress is too yummy! I have to say I would raise the hem a little but all in all NICE!!!!

Now this jacket...... How could you not love it, so effortlessly casual and confident!

I'm REALLY happy to see a decent boys pattern... The trousers look class and the top is cool, the top sleeves could be lengthened and used for pj's!!

And this is so on my to make list for the boys..... I will be changing the fabric selection for a boys fabric, it's just a little too girly, I might have to add a eye patch for the added BOYNESS!!!!!!

And look at next months preview (April 13). It looks to be a goody!!!! Father & Son section, I'm rubbing my hands together in anticipation ;)

Has anyone used Burda Style patterns from the magazine?? Do you have any tips??

Magazine crushes!!! Blogtoberfest #15

Good morning everyone...

As you might have seen in the other post. I love to do pattern inspiration from magazines.. I mean who doesn't... I found this the other day in good housekeeping. LOVE LOVE LOVE it it's all very Victoria Beckham (last season but still!!)

Now on to the next crush.... Not in a magazine BUT......

 

 

In a "high street " shop.... So so simple but I had to get a couple of snaps,

 

 

 

This was a definite crush... I took lots more photos. This is defo on the to make list! I'm sure I can manage a pattern from scratch, and have heaps of jersey cotton to fit the bill.

 

Anyways short but sweet (very sweet for me!) I'm off to do some sewing and organising!

my magazine addiction

hey hey so i thought i would share my magazine addiction ..... they say admitting it is the first step!! so i managed to stop smoking 2years 11 months ago i'm very much nearing the 3 years stage which sounds good I've never counted the months till just there!!!!
i have now started a new addiction..... magazine's

i love this but I'm glad it's monthly the purse may just start screaming at me nooooooo!!!!

this mag does the same to your purse but as it goes they are the fashion page's i have found many a thing to lust over in these lovely glossy pages!!! PS doesn't Jen look great in this pic probably air brushed but... i like the look she's going for!!

well look huh it is one of the great high street greats it has very much affordable clothes that's if you've not found a fabric in your stash to attempt some kind of a copy of it!!! i do love a bit of idel gossip to so this is a must.....

now my beloved Grazia i do oh so love this mag and with it's top 10 stories with real life and sometimes very somber stories i feel slightly upper class with this in my arm!!!! crazy huh!!!!!

now as for sewing craftiness this is a firm fave it is more about sewing all over the little's and larges of it all i do love this it's where my pattern for my tea cozy came from and there are so many other projects to make too!!!!!

now burda huh i LOVE burda especially when i get the time to have a good read through it.... i have a fair few project's in these mag's with post-it's saying to do on them and one day ys one day i will manage maybe say 1/2 of them!!!
