I have to say that living in the UK...... Well it's wet, and I well..... Love it, I love wellie, snuggly jackets, hats and scarfs..... But most of all I now love spending these days indoors painting with my boys.....

This is gonna be our Halloween decorations......

More walking?!?!?

Hello there
Firstly sorry the posts have slowed up, to be honest the boys are a little hard at the minute.... But i reckon I'm on the road to order....... vaguely anyways. So basically please bear with me my form & writing skills shall come back in no time. Thank you

So me and the boys were out for our walk today

Finn found some wishys......

And Frazer had a good try to at blowing the petals of his daisy... very cute!

We spotted a ladybird.....

And a mega spider defo had a good feeding spot!!!!

All in all a fab walk was had, Frazer was asleep and me and Finn got to play trains in Starbucks!!

Walking

Good evening peeps

Have y'all had a great day???

My day has been filled with tracing and marking my muslin.... Which is taking soooo long! I know it will be worth it but kids don't make such tasks so easy!!!

Talking of kids.......
Me and my boys went for a walk today, as we do everyday to get naps started,

There were lots of sheep......

Lots of leave kicking,
i really enjoyed watching them at play :o)

The cows had moved to a new fields for grazing......

I found holly growing everywhere,
I shall be claiming some of this later in the year.......

I also found these lovely berries sprouting everywhere,
I wouldn't eat them, as they are near a busy road, the pollution may be too much, but does anyone have tips for dying with it???? Can i use them for dyeing?????

This rock has caught my eye so many times, but today i had my camera and had to share!

My fascination with leaves as the seasons change continues but how could it not.... I mean look at all the colours......


So after a long day my oldest was more than tuckered out, i have stopped his afternoon nap for the last 2 days, a 3 year old going to bed at 10.30pm is a no no in my book! I am also trying to sort out the above picture..... the wee guy just won't go to sleep in his own bed! I have tried moving him to his brothers room... That didn't work, I tried putting him in my bed.... you guessed it that didn't work either! I know when it's 1am because he runs in to my bed! This has been going on for say, 7 weeks now! Tonight i went upstairs to get something and look again with the not in bed! although stressful....
It is very cute!

Hunting & Gathering

Today was filled with hunting & gathering supplies...

I am now ready to get on with making my muslin for this Coat-along .......

I collected my Burda magazine, Such a good issue too, hoping that the above link shall aid me in much fabulous sewing tips on fitting/tailoring,

I got a few supplies for the sewing box too.....


I managed to pop in to the library and found this book, it's written in threat letter theme never seen it before..... Crazy huh!
It's called Woman's World by Graham Rawle

Well i'm off to start my muslin.... this was just a virtual kick up the butt, to make sure i actually get my muslin done tonight wish me luck!!!!

His 1st day :o)

So today was the first day of creche,
Finn loved it, Frazer not so much but he'll take time. He's only in once a week and still a wee baby so that's totally what i expected. As much as i love that i will have a bit of time to myself.... It means they are growing up huh my wee boy's heading for nursery where does the time go!

I LOVE YOU, YOU'LL ALWAYS BE MY WEE BOYS

I was in the same building today doing a course called the
nurturing program,
it has had rave reviews, from friends who have taken part in the 12 week course. To be honest i think it sounds real good so far.... seems to be all about praise so we'll see! This is the book we are working from..... I'll be sure to let you all know what i think, i have to read through the first section now that i have the book at home....

My 1st free motion...

Hello there peeps.... so i have been busy sewing sewing sewing....

Firstly i have finished my "orna" bag for a friend johns wife, it's a bit late but hey hey!! I do have to get a handle on my time management though!!! Well that or don't leave it till the last minute!!

As you can see i am a lot better in the last pic..... Well i see a difference anyways....

Things i have learned....

It's not a thing I can rush, when i concentrate it looks way better!!
Use more pins to baste, as i have lots of wrinkles at the back,
Take breaks, staring for to long at the same thing is not for me!!!
Practice makes perfect..... I hope!!!!

It is a new-ish site for me, i have to say I LOVE it! Fiona the lady who runs this site is more than approachable and very helpful.... She has links galore, and more competitions than you can shake a stick at with loads of fab interviews too!! Fiona has a fab Facebook page, as well as a excellent blog........ if you have the time you should defo have a wee read over her blog..... And I have to say i look forward to her Facebook updates and links...

ON ANOTHER NOTE!!!!!
My boy's were meant to be going to a wee creche today, but the bus is off today so, we will be going tomorrow...

Finn missed nursery this year, as he's a august baby he will be the oldest in class. I was lucky to be given a space in a Surestart 4 days a week for Finn and Frazer 1 for 2 hours, so i will have lots of time on my hands! well this is my hope anyways have to say i think it's all a bit emotional.... i mean my wee guy is nearly away too school!
Where does the time go!!!

Hey there peeps

So hows your Wednesday night/Thursday going???

Mines is going well, not to much on this week creative wise, but it is all prep for my first ever Christmas stall in the local craft fair!! Any ideas on best sellers???? Would love to hear about them!!

This is my crayon roll belt, 22 good to go happy with them but, I will be tinkering in the next few days to come up with a different pattern....

And i have to have a little craft for my bag don't I!

Autumn is coming

Well, i looked out the window this morning it looks much the same as yesterday.

Yes wet & windy! But I have to say that, I don't really mind i love my willies & a good old woolly jumper! I live in the UK one must at least like a little rain.... As we get a lot!!

As i sit eating my favorite breakfast, my thoughts go to one particular picture i took yesterday.... I must add whilst taking my picture i was looked upon as rather strange! But those who know me know that I never miss a opportunity!

Yes like the tile says..... Autumn is coming and this lovely leave told me this. How could this lovely wee leave not make you smile! The colours are fab, also i look forward to me and the boys getting out and having a good old kick of the fallen leaves!

So i reckon today will be filled with a new 2mm crochet adventure, one i can carry around in my bag too! Oh how i love the vintage... I mean look at the hook & the darning floss, I reckon I will keep the card when I'm done!

And this blanket has come a long way..... But still has a bit to go, so will try get more done today.
Who says rainy days are bad days.... Not me!!
