my first crochet hexagon

hey there
do you see do you see ...... my first ever crochet hexagon so happy with it.... I've crocheted nothing other than a few granny square baby blanket's i think it's time to get creative .... :)
i got the pattern from attic24 this is one talented lady let me tell you her latest blog enter is fab she has crochet everywhere, and a lovely lampshade look's glass and really matches her aesthetic.... if you love crochet or just want to dabble this is your first port of call..

so with her very easy to follow instruction's i put together this lovely lovely hexagon in no time
and i can now say i have done my "granny a day" it's not a granny but i will be using this to give me the push to learn enough so that i can use crochet within my designs....
I'm glad i got to use my flea market find being the cotton!!!!!
i am not on the way to reducing my carbon footprint check out Sarah's challenge
